I know that there was speculation on how many characters would be allowed per server/account...has anyone now playing figured out how many are allowed for sure yet?

If they didn't change it after beta and I though they wouldn't it is just 4 characters total. So not depending on servers. Just four.
Last I heard was that Moorguard had posted on the forums that 4 characters per account, needless to say that post was wiped after the beta.
can two of those charracters be playing at the same time? also, do you have to pay extra for the 2cnd-4th char?

In beta you got four characters. You can create them on anly server you wish. You can only play one toon at a time.

One account = One Character online at any one time.

four total. that means if you want to play on 4 different servers, you will use up your characters doing so, one per server.

It dosnt appear to be. But if enough people complaine, maybe they will change that.

Tested this out last night. Only four characters per account. So they kept the same rule as beta. Hopefully this will change after the initial flux of creating/disliking/recreating characters. Might also be like DAoC did and added more slots after time....

I'm assuming it's not like FFXI, where more character cost you more money. Right? >.>
Correct you do not have to pay for additional characters. I really hated that in FFXI.
On the other hand we do have to pay 14.99....... so it's like having 1 plus 2 mules..
