Is there the stupid blindness at nighttime ordeal in EQ2? that was my major concern with EQ2 :) thanks

I couldnt see a thing at night, untill I uped the gamma. Just go to options, and you can adjust it.

I couldn't see anything in the Peat Bog zone at night. I picked up a torch (4 silver in town), placed it in my "Activateable" slot, and it made a huge difference. I bet its still not as good as the vision benefits of other races though.

I'm not sure how long it lasts though. So far, it doesn't look consumeable.

During the night I switch to sonic vison, which pretty much makes everything visible, but yellow ^^

My Dark elf has Ultravision(everything is blue) and my high elf has infrared-no probs here seeing the the dark :)
