Claim ItemsFollow

When you do "/claim" a window appears with the following items to claim depending on if you got the starter kit and collector's edition or not and etc. When my window came up it showed all items that I have if I wanted to claim them now or not. I claimed the statue and the EQ2 painting. The statue and the EQ2 painting went into my inventory. I examined each one of them and after closeing the windows from examining them they disappeared. They didn't go back into my inventory or anything. Can someone please tell me on how to use this?
