Vid Card help pleaseFollow

Hey guys, just went out and got a new video card cuz mine wasnt supported by eq2. Anyway, I got a ATI Radeon 9800XT. Now, when I put the display driver CD in and try to install, it says "Setup was unable to complete the installation. Try to setup your display adapter with a standard VGA driver before running setup."

Anyone had this problem before, or have any ideas what I should do? I search for vga driver, but not sure what to download. Any help is very much appreciated. Thanx

I had that very same problem.I have the 9600XT, I completely uninstalled all the ATI drivers and extras and any old video drivers I found, downloaded the most recent from ATI's website and poof now I am a up and running. hope that this works for you.
