Ok, I got all this cool equipment on the island of refuge and from loot after I got to Qeynos. The problem I have, however, is that I can't equip any of it. Most of it is light armour, and I think one piece is medium armour. One may even be very light. The thing is it says my skill is too low to wear.

Now my question: Does my skiill increas by level on its own, or do I need to do something to increase it? Lots of this stuff seems like I should be able to wear it (half of my equipment is green on me, so I need to upgrade soon) and I just can't... Smiley: cry

It also sells really good and I want to know if I should sell it. =)

well if these things are same as in beta (which I expect they are), your skill will advance through leveling...however, some skills will only become available to you as you progress through your Archetype->class->subclass..

Example,

Priest - Very Light Armour only

hit 10 after becoming a shaman, Gain Light Armour skill at same level as VLight armour,

Hit 20 after becomming a Mystic, Gain Medium Armour skill.

iirc, Templars/Inquisitors gain Heavy Armour skill at 20, Druids Stick with light.

Only classes that lose skills are the warrior archetypes i believe, dropping weapon/armour skills dependant on what vows they have taken (monks not using edged weapons or heavier armours etc)
