Directx 9.0c

I'm having a problem installing this, even from the microsoft website. There is a problem with my computer that it no longer picks up Windows logo testing signatures, and as a result, cancels installation of anything supported by windows. I found out how to control the warning pop-up to only prompt me of this for device drivers, but does anyone know how I could do this for software or override this in any way?

Ah, how's it working for ya? I still have 9.0b installed, I don't believe I'll bother upgrading to 9.0c. I can't remember what was done to it but I remember thinking it was risky to try downloading it now because some people were having a few problems with it. Does it work well?

Skitt, I am really curious what you did to correct the logo problem. I have had the same problem. To the point that I cannot install anything new on my comp. I thought I was missing some vital Windows files and that that was the reason for my problems. PLease any info you can give would greatly appreciated.

Slippy,

Are you actually able to play EQ2 on 9.0b. I remember seeing that it specifically wouldn't work without 9.0c..
