Is it worth playing if I plan to solo?

Yes, yes you are. MMO's offer more replayability than single player games.

And if you're into playing with only 1 or 2 more people (and not a throng of l33t kids), then your target genre is few and far between. Multiplayer rpg's are quite rare, and small groups of friends suffer from the same woes (albeit less so) in raid obsessed worlds.

A lot of people have play times that don't mesh with prime time, such as myself. In many cases it isn't a matter of wanting to be antisocial, its being forced into a relatively small community and in many cases, not finding any like minded people to play with.

I'm mostly a solo player because I can usually never find enough time to commit to a group. Or I have to go AFK a lot due to family stuff. The days where I could play for hours on end with no other responsibilities are far behind me.

The kerra racial traait of track is one of the ones that stand out the most to me. Its very useful in pvp and when looking for quest mobs that you know are close. Other racial traits do not amount to much at upperlevels or can be obtained through gear like waterbreathing with haden earing. Track so far that i know of cannot be obtained except trough racial or class choice and retains its value at upperlevels.

I played my monk up to 90th with a fair amount of the time soloing. I do agree that even small 2 or 3 player groups are much more enjoyable. And if they're quest whores like yours truely, the extra AAs come in very handy and you can knock off a few tougher mobs to boot.

I aslo enjoy soloing basically is the fact that I do not have a solid freind list that
will invite me all the time and so that leads to about 90% soloing.

But my big query is, why can't SOE do what DDO does and that is making each dungeon
have a option. When you click on the dungeon door in DDO (Dungeons & Dragons)
it asks you the type of dungeon you wish, ie: solo/solo hard/group and so on...

So to make EQ2 much more solo freindly, why can't they make each dungeon catered
too the soloer and make dungeons with all types of levels? ie: solo/ group and so on.

If DDO can do it I am quite sure SOE can...

Only if they wanted to re-tool the entire game. DDO is based on instanced combat - in most cases, when you enter a zone, you (and your group) are the only characters in it. (the guy that walks up to the same cave entrance 2 minutes later gets his own instance, not yours!)

On the other hand , most combat in EQ2 is based on common or "contested" zones where depending on who gets there first, you and the next guy are both able to attack the same mob.
