First off let say that i hope everything works out okay for both Sony and the gamers when this ordeal is over with. Second since this happened during an event ie. city festival and a scheduled SC item sale will they extend those when they do come back online? I am sure plenty of us had some plans for these events does anyone have any idea what Sony plans when the servers come back on?

i can see them extending the city fest if this only lasted a day but as it is now i think they'll just pick up with whatever day it is and go from there. they'll definitely put on a new SC sale day, gotta make nice nice to keep customers. it's not like it's 12 yrs ago when there was no competition. they have to work at it to keep subscribers now. for example, I'm currently playing Prius from Gpotato, it's a free game like EQ2X, not sure if i'll go back to eq2 after this.
