Does anybody know what the cap of exp bonus you can get is, or if there is one? Saw there is an upcoming double exp weekend. I have a ton of those 100% bonus exp potions on my toon and with my playstyle generally have no problem keeping plenty of vitality. Just wondering if all of that stacks together during double exp? Thinking about trying to grind out some AA on my berserker witch is currently lvl 78.

Other thing what would be the best place to get double exp? My idea was to hit up somewhere like Castle Mistmoore or Karnors with my merc and kill everything in sight?

There's a cap, but I can't recall it off hand. I'd think you could stack one of each kind of bonus - max toon, potion, server bonus.

Yes they do! Vitality + potions + bonus weekend = GREAT XP.

As for places to get xp, that can vary for classes, but generally things about your level, that die very quickly. You want the xp to go as fast as possible right? Smiley: nod

For me, I used to kill the epic guards in Neriak (yes I know, but I am evil...so killing my own kind shouldn't be frowned on). Before they nerfed them they were worth decent xp, and having 'old' world stats they went down like... sugar.

IIRC, you can stack one of each kind of bonus and get them all concurrently. (this even includes the bonus you get from being mentored)

As far as what or where to kill, the sweet spot for XP is usually mobs that are yellow/white to you.
Yellow will give you the best XP per target but white mobs will be a little easier to kill.
Orange and red mobs are usually not worth the time and effort because they represent a diminishing return - they are SO much harder to kill that the extra XP is eaten up by increased down time while you wait for power & health to come back up. (if you can self heal and have unlimited power pots this becomes less of an issue)

The same sweet spot applies to quest XP - yellow quests will yield the best ratio of XP for the effort.

My husband and I group up and try to hit up as many instanced heroic zones around our level that we can. Last double xp weekend we only used a day of, but we ran around with two level 70 chars (pushed them to all AA) and hit up every Kingdom of Sky instance. Smiley: nod

Worked out pretty well for me. Started off lvl 79 with 123 aa. Finished off lvl 80 with 225 aa. Considering the amount of time I had to play pretty good. I feel a lot less concerned about hitting lvl 90 now. Also got to explore some zones and finish some quests. I started out at Mistmoore. The exp was good but the only problem was everything seems to stun in that zone making it hard to really pull multiple enemies. Still stayed there a good while and got a lot of named and discovery. Went to Karnors after that. I would have figured it would be a lot harder since it was from a newer expansion but it was actually a lot easier. Using cooldowns was able to pull several enemies at a time and again got some good discovery and named AA. Also managed to finish 2 collection quests and made a good chunk of PP from rare loots/rare collectibles.

I found the best AA exp was probably karnors since everything was just barely green there (was a few blues) and went down really quick. Chardok gave more exp per kill but it took a lot longer to kill things and had to be really careful with my pulls (died a few times).

Finished off with Chardok just because I hadn't been there before. Didn't see the whole place as it got a little ruff towards the back but still got some good aa, loots, discovery.
