how do i get a healer merc?

from what it shows in marketplace looks like are mercs classes are randomly assigned. is there any way to be assured i get a healer merc? or this like a lottery?

Healer mercs can be found in starter cities. If you go here: http://eq2.zam.com/wiki/Mercenaries_%28EQ2%29 it will show you where to get your healer merc. Hope it helps.

thank you read that but when looking at the merc crates in the marketplace looks like a crap shoot with no specific designation. buy the merc slot and then buy a merc. sure liked it bettter in eq when all it cost was plat ) thank you again
