Am not impressed and as confused about the time travel nonsense like everyone else.
-Garrison... glorified player housing I dont give a rats **** for. Kudos to blizz for at least turning the core idea into something actually useful (resource gathering, etc).
You have any idea how many thousands of players have been begging Blizz for something like this ever since the game went live?
And the whole thing sounds like an awesome idea. A garrison for my mighty character will be a nice step up from a tiny farm in Pandaria. That way I can have a REAL house and not be bumming a bed from various inns or camping out in tents.

-"Cleave"... if done right could be cool, as I'm a fan of procs/effects/quirks in general. Wait to see how it gets implemented.
Indeed, they said that was one potential idea.

-Stats change (again?!).... Blizz STAHP !!1! Hit rating's been around forever and removing it seems to be another newb/noob "player friendly" move. *sigh* stupid.
Hit Rating is incredibly boring. Just like Defense Rating before it, it was a "Must get _____ before you can raid" crap. You didn't pick it because it was interesting, you picked it because you had to. Kinda like Defense Rating was for tanks. It isn't interesting, it adds nothing new to your character (oh, now you have a 0.00% chance to miss with yellows instead of a 2% chance or somecrap, oooo. That changes a lot in your playstyle, doesn't it?).
They want to get rid of these stats because they aren't interesting. Haste and Mastery are decent examples of *good* stats -- Haste affects cooldowns and resource (re)generation, which can change your rotation slightly. Mastery affects your class's mastery ability (dur, lol). Some classes benefit more from haste, some benefit more from mastery, some are close enough that you could call it a toss-up. I know when I'm derping around as a Monk, I enjoy my Energy regenerating faster, so I stack haste. I bet some monks enjoy the higher chance to get 2 brew stacks instead of 1 brew stack whenever they spend chi instead. Its a choice, and it does affect your playstyle. Also, with Paladins... you want to use your abilities slightly more often, or do you want your crusader's/templar's to hit harder with more holy damage? etc etc.
THOSE are "Decisions" to make. Getting "Hit and Exp to Cap" isn't an actual decision. It is something you "must" do and it does not change your playstyle whatsoever. I won't be shedding any tears with their removal, in fact I've always been praying that they'd see that these stats are boring and just remove them.
Will it make the game more "newb friendly"? Maybe. But then if you had to choose between Cleave and whatever else out there... maybe not.

The story thus far makes no sense to me (not a lore junkie) so Blizz will have to try harder to explain things to a point why I should emotionally care. Garrosh felt underwhelming and I wanted to be done with him altogether. Meh.
They said that Garrosh only gets the story moving; it doesn't sound like Garrosh is going to be around very far into the expansion. It more sounds like he gets things started and then he gets knocked off right away as soon as the story starts moving so that we can focus on other, more awesome characters like Blackhand, Grommash, Durotan, Khadgar, etc.
You know, all of those names you've seen here-and-there throughout quests, and perhaps if you ever played any of the earlier Warcraft games? It will be awesome to actually meet these characters in person.
