I need some help with the AH, please.

I have a couple of auction items due to expire soon and tried to cancel the auction but I don't see any selection for that. I have highlighted the items, expecting a cancel button.

Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

Has someone placed a bid on it? If so you have to wait until the auction ends and you will receive their bid minus AH fees.

If not you can just wait for the auction to expire. Any item not sold on the AH will be sent to your mailbox. The only thing you will loose is the deposit fee and you loose that anyways if you cancel your auction.

Hope any of that helped.

Thank you for responding and for your help, Criminy. I just tried again after placing a new item for auction and now I *do* get a cancel option. Smiley: blush

You can cancel an auction if there's a bid on it. If you go to the "auctions" tab on the AH, you should have seen the "cancel auction" button light on when you clicked the item, but I've never tried cancelling one just before it expires, so maybe that's the issue. But I've accidentally cancelled auctions with bids before I changed settings in Trade Skill Master.

Oh I did not know that, I thought you were essentially locked into whatever bid was placed. And now I know. Smiley: schooled
