There is a way to bind things to different keys. Here is a sample guide for how to do that using the basic interface. For maximum DPS, you'll also want to read about "rotation" and bind those attacks to keys you can reach easily.

lol.

In all fairness though, we shouldn't make fun of the OP; this might be the first game like this he's played.

@OP: There are many different ways to control the game. The buttons on your hotkey bar have little numbers next to them; you hit those keys to get them to do whatever they're assigned to do. For example, if you have auto-attack on 1, charge on 2 and rend on 3... you hit the "3" key on your keyboard to make your character use Rend.

As for movement, you can either use the mouse or the keyboard (choose whichever you want), whichever you feel comfortable with.

And if you like clicking your ability icons, that's up to you too; healers actually do this I hear with some success. I don't know much of that; I never tried any serious healing myself.

I would get used to at least using various hot keys for your most used abilities. I would also get used to using your mouse to turn and for movement, but that will take you a bit more time to get used to then the hot keys. Sure you can level and run 5 mans with clicking all your abilities and using your keyboard to turn, but you will find things go smoother if you practice some simple hot keys and movement with the mouse. Expecially when you are starting to learn how to move your character and all of that jazz.

Also sorry for the jab there Muddy, it was an opportunity I couldn't pass up. Smiley: tongue
