Did the BTA on the Humble Bundle, and bought the Capitalism, Ho! game, as well as the other two from the same group (all were 75% off).

And selling a steam account seems like a risky deal for both parties...

In among the other stuff, RUSE with DLC is on sale for $4 from GamersGate today. It's been as low as $2.50 or so on Steam but that was for the base game only. I have no interest in it but some folks are saying it's a great deal if it's your sort of game.

Dammit, Joph. There went another $5 I probably shouldn't have spent. Sacred 2, Risen 2 and Dead Island might be worth it, though.

Been using my Steam account on my new laptop, and I noticed now that every time I start up on my Desktop or Laptop, that steam always does an update. Must be because I keep logging in from different devices?

No idea although I rebooted today and Steam updated so I'm thinking (this time) they just had a new version ready to be pushed.

Yeah, I notice fairly frequent updates when I go between devices. Maybe it's just stuff that updates in the background normally.

Steam has Frozen Synapse on sale for $4.99 (80% off)
But if you buy the "Complete" pack you get the Soundtrack ($5.99 normal price) and DLC ($9.99 normal price), plus a second copy of Frozen Synapse ($24.99 normal price) to trade, all for only $6.99

So their 80% off complete bundle is actually closer to 90% off everything you are getting. $60.96 value for $6.99.

Oh, and it's a card game. 0.11 or so value cards, so not great, but if you sell them all that knocks 40 cents of cost. (kind of)

I got frozen synapse in a bundle for 5 bucks with a whole bunch of other games...

This thread has ruined me for normal pricing.

Also! Speaking of Bundles, the Humble Weekly Bundle is up with another show stopping group of mediocre games:

pay anything to get:
King's Bounty: Armored Princess
Men of War
Men of War: Red Tide

Pay more than the average to unlock
Men of War:Assault Squad
King's Bounty:The Legend

https://www.humblebundle.com/weekly

actually those Kings Bounty games look ok... hmmm

Armored Princess is pretty fun. Probably worth it for at least the really cheap option.

Steam Quakecon Sale

Bunch of id & Bethesda titles on sale. No great discounts o the Bethesda stuff (maybe this weekend?) but the old id titles (Doom, Hexen, Quake, etc) are cheap.

Edit: Links are nice.

I beat the average with $3.50. I figured why the hell not. I mean I could have just paid $1 and not gotten the DLC for armored princess but w/e ... I mean there is cheap and then there is CHEAP

Sega is having a store sale. You can get Derpians: Colonial Derps for $4.99 if you're so inclined.

Also, Gamefly is having the same Quakecon sale as Steam except you can use GFDAUG20 for an extra 20% off.

They've been smart about making their back catalogue available for sale. For example they have worked with Nintendo to emulate game gear games on the 3DS

If you have a forum account at Cheapassgamers that's 90+ days old, you can get a beta pass for Skullgirls. Works until release (Aug 22nd).

I thought a couple of you did even if you don't actively post there.
