K, here's a story for people on how not to act.
I was in Highbourne working on some quests on my eru/ench when I get a blind invitation. I figure well what the heck I'll grab some xp's then finish quest later. Well there's only two other people in the group and they're running to the west side of HB so I follow, all of a sudden, they start attacking HB guards. O.k. what's wrong with this picture?
1. Never told me what the plan was, I figured we were going to get another group member.
2. Didn't ask me ready.
3. Didn't give me time to even cast my pet.
4. Didn't give out or give me time to give out any buffs
5. How long are you planning on killing the guards to my hometown wrecking my faction?
I mean come on, hello a little planning here would be nice. Well I left the group, gave both of them buffs, and hit the mobs with a dot and debuff, and watched to make sure they didn't die, and they didn't!
They started yelling at me in shout "WTF" "You A-hole" ...
I politely said, first of all, tell me the plan, ask ready, buff, pet, faction... I said to the barb/war, "Would you like to go kill the guards up in Halas, his response was "If they weren't so tough I would. Who in the hell goes and xp's at the guards to their hometown? DUH! Or even worse invites someone to a group to kill their own guards. Then he's mad at me when I leave group (and make sure they were ok, I could [maybe should] have just left)
Bad players indeed!
GL (even you bad players, GL on learning, LOL)
