bad players....uggg...Follow

ok, i am well aware that i am not the only person that is sick and tired of bad players. i just cant go another day without venting this frustration. i understand that some people are bad because they are new, i was at one point or another, hell i might be bad now but ive been told otherwise. anyway, players that are about lvl 30 and up i think should be expected to be atleast half way decent and have some idea of what the hell they are doing. i am lvl 41 with my current char. and have been lvl 42 and 21 with others. i have grouped with so many people my current lvl or higher and i have to say there are some all around BAD players in tunaria. this is not news, yes, but if you have had the miss-fortune of grouping with "certain" players that i will not name here, you know just how mading it really is. i know that this will get us nowhere, no amount of ranting, complaning etc...will fix this, but i just hope that some of these bad players will wake up one day and say..."hey, im a really horrible player, i get people killed, i steal stuff, im ****, im just an all around annoying player!". lord knows thats what we all want, but i guess we can all dream, cant we? anyway, good hunting people, and heres to hoping you dont fall prey to the bad players wrath...peace.

I feel you I have grouped withlots of bad players. When I get tried of it I go to Greyvax's Cave and xp there by my self till i get tried of that

Ok, first let me just say alot of us were new to this game at one point. I agree it does get frustrating, but I thank the PL system for these people. Cause how the hell else is a new guy gonna make it to lvl 35+. Come on, I was against PLing from the start and I still am now. And for this simple fact alone, people were gonna eventually get to the higher level because of PL's and not have any kind of clue how to use the toon or what their purpose is in the game.

We can thank all those higher level guys that are PLing these new guys. I understand if someone is PLing their alts, but please if your PLing make sure that everyone else atleast has a main of more than level 20. I admit PLing is a cool way to gain levels fast between quests but alot of people aren't even doing the quests until they hit lvl 40. So they have no clue as to what is going on in the game other than just finding rares and gettin to level 60.

Well I have let off my steam. But understand where this situation is coming from. We PL them we create them.
And as for that idiot, he obviously has the mind of a 9 year old so he should be out trying to look up girls dresses, eating his boogers, or something like that.

ever had a tank that seems to try to let the caster (me) get aggro and when u tell him to tuant he says "y tuant? that piece of crap doesnt do damage, just makes them attack me. i dont wanna get hit"

only thing a new player need to know is , know ur role.

if ur a dd: dont put lot of stats in STA and STR u will never be a tank , dex agi better
as a Castr : intel and wis should be nice.
Hlr: CHA (i know CHa isnt a main druid stats but if u dont put points on cha u will not heal as well)
Tank:STAMINA! tank take hits and protect the grp so they need more hp. (str too but sta is better) i saw a tank who had 200 base str at 24.didnt put points on sta yet. we call that a paper tank.it was hard to heal him well cuz of is base sta , didnt have lot of hp.

and for me, a bad player(noob) is:
1.trainer
2.ninja loot or ppls who just wanna greed
3.ppls who come to a little spot where is alrdy 3 grps and its alrdy hard to share just for farm/faction.
4...maybe rude to name him...nha : XAVIER (barb war around lvl 23)hes the worst player i ever saw in this game. he usually run and shout : *** u all noob! lol
5.ect.

I know bad players can be frustrating. But, I allways try to give peeps a few chances to prove them selves. I never get mad becuz I die in a grp. I never get mad becuz of a mistake made.
I am will to die twice in any grp, but after two deaths, I begin to look for a way out. Also, I try me best to build up a bad player's ego. U'll b surprized how effective that really is in turnning a bad player into a good one!

Sometimes, it will tank a tank a few bad trys to get into his grove. Sometimes, a healer will hit the wrong weakassed heal to heal. Sometimes, a melee will be twiddling thier thumbs when they should be fighting. Sometimes, a caster will fub up a root.
Sometimes, a pet will pick a unwanted fight.
And so on...

Some of me BEST friends and skilled fighters were at one time a bad player, If I had given up on them...

what does one expect when this game is geared toward teenagers lol. this game has very little if no challenge and no real story only thing anyone is interested in in this game is how fast they can get to lvl 50+ and how much tunar they can get, or ******** people over for a uber rare they cant even use. probably the only reason i still play it is for the simple fact that i have made e-friends and real life friends who play this and it acts as a source of communication and roleplaying (rp in eqoa? what a joke!) the game is essentially a watered and dumbed down port of the PC version modified and geared to suit the hack and slash adventure platform using the everquest name (what a shame) but... its still somewhat fun and for those that cant or dont play PC version i highly suggest switching to it the story/content/community is stronger and bigger then eqoa will ever be. the world of norrath on eqoa is about 1/8th the size it is on the PC version. i've been playing Everquest(PC) since Kunark expansion off and on all though i never grasped the concept and often started then quitted due to the fact that as a noob back then i found the world too big for me i have since grown back to it since playing this which im happy to say is excellent. well i like to say this is somewhat of a neutral post on what i think of this game and some people in it, i'd just like to say when you play something geared towards children thats exactly what your gonna get; nothings perfect, but theres some common sense ^^ happy hunting
