droideka droid???Follow

Can you have one of these things fight with you.

having one of these things by your side would be almost as kick *** as killing a jedi, if you catch my drift.

On your POI on Lok there is the droid engineers cave. Its absolutly jam packed full of droidekas. They appear on radar as aggresive but they never attacked me while I explored the caves. They look pretty damn hardass after examining them! (as well as looking far too cool!)

Maybe there is a quest or something that a droid engineer can do to get schematics for them?

According to The Station, "battle droids" are coming. The articles seem to indicate a class of battle capable droids (and I DON'T mean wimpy Probots) will be available, but they wouldn't go as far as elaborating. They did, however, say that the battle abilities of droids will be enhanced. Sometimes you can go to a shuttleport and see a repair R2 droid shooting what looks like a energy bolt at a console. All droids attacks will probably be upgraded like that. They gave no timetable, but put Jan 21 as the final day for DE suggestions. IT may come separately or combined with the promised DE rebuild. In any case, it's time for DE's to CASH IN!
