Today I finally hit the halfway point of Carbineer (2/2/2/2), and now I wish to start leveling some of my Novice Fencer skills before resuming Carbineer training. Currently I am at Novice Fencer 0/0/0/0 with all of the Fencer and One-handed weapons. I just need some tips on where I can go and what I can fight to get good XP. At 2/2/2/2 Carbineer, I have a knockdown, Chargeshot, and some other moves to help me when a mission goes bad for Fencer. I just need advice.

Also, I need some tips on the right armor combination that I should get, like Ubese, Padded, or Mabari.

Thanks :)

for fencer, i go to dath with a few other people and kill the rancors. decent xp per, and with your friends with flamers its very cool. a good armor combo is a full set of high kinetic ubese armor. i get hit 60-70 by rancors with my 61% set.

Just a reminder. As of the last patch, bleeds, flamers, dots or whatever now get Exp appropriate to what damage they did. Friends sticking a Flame or a Bleed on something then letting you finish will still suck up the exp as if they had just damaged it normally.
Yes, that little power-levelling trick just got nerfed.

I can't offer any personal advice for superfast exp with Fencing as I did it my own pace, it took me about 2months to make Master Brawler then Blademaster. I would take a note from the last Fencing thread on here, tho. A poster recommended paying for full H-A buffs and carrying a crate of Moun Gould. Use Endor or Dantooine (less dangerous than Dath and easier to navigate) pick missions of Herbivores like Bolle Bol (no DB) and spawn as many as you feel safe with, then just pound away. You'll prolly want some good layered Ubese as mentioned above to soak up some of the punishment. Apparently he made Master in 4days this way, that sort of grind would burn me out totally tho.

Hi!
I made Master Fencer less that 2 weeks.
I was Master doc at the same time, that helped alot.

SO...

1.Get Doctor buffs and Musician buffs
2.Wear Composite armor kinetic spec (or Ubese) I had Compo with 78% kinetic
3.Find good place to level (monsters with kinetic vuln. or low resist.) I leveled on Dantoiine, soloed Pikets, Bols, Huurtons all sorts of those.

I leveled 2nd tree first, the one with bleeds.

With these you can get about 100-200k exp in one hour.

You might want also take missions from Mine Outpost to speed monster finding. .)

Hope this helps.

My two cents: I'm also halfway CH and that also helps a lot. I can use Level 30 creatures and that will tank whatever u fight allowing you to engage those creatures mentioned before like Rancors, picketts etc.
I also have the Phrm tree in medic and that way i can use D Medpacks (med use level 40).
Be buffed...always!!!
Food is always great!! There are some things (i dont remember the name now) that can boost your mind or action without having those bad side effects when they are finished.

When I was fencing teaming up with a Ch help big time!!! They tank the creature while you run in and out hiting it.

i agree w/Pasho, Picket lairs r the way to go on Dant. Plus yer pullin in at the minimum 9k a nest, you start bank rollin real fast! Hurtons r good about the sam xp as pickets and easier to kill though u only make about 7k a nest...good thing about the hurtons is they're hostile so u can pull them one at a time, where as often times pickets tend to be close together and will all aggro on u at the same time....not fun and harder to pull one at a time, sux when u have a whole dam heard of pickets runnin after yer *** LOL!! But this method is tried and truei used it to master TK, and playing very part time i did it in 2 mo's...hope this helps!
