Is it true that Corbantis is one of the worst servers for economy? because i have been reading around in almost all the forums and looking around in prices on other servers and they are MUCH less than corbantis!!! Please tell me if this is true....because holos in corbantis are going for 500k still after the gift. LLC's are about 30-40k and i just read a post that bria has them for 18k........

Well if you have any comments please post.

I am having trouble finding a good armor dealer on Corbantis. And when I do find a piece of armor separately, it costs more than on my other characters servers.

Wanderhome seems to match the prices you mentioned in Corbantis. I think the LLC's may have dropped a little bit.

I was told that the Infation rate has not hit Bloodfin ( have a friend who plays on it alot). You can still pay 3-5 cpu for great resourses and less the 100k for a good set of composite. Dont come to Starsider, prices have hit 80 cpu and 500k for OK composite.

I'm on Bloodfin and I've heard from several people that our economy is actually pretty bad. Apparently, there were a lot of credit dupers early on, who flooded the market with unaccounted for credits, driving prices up. Grinding resources are still 3 cpu, but the really good stuff can go for up to 100 cpu or so. Here are some average prices to compare. Holos are around 500K, single crystals are about 300K, twins 500K and Krayt pearls are around 4-6 million. An unsliced, pre-nerf FWG5 is around 80K, a typical laser carb is about 15K. A crate of Muon Gold is 7-9K. I'd be interested in hearing what these items cost on other servers.--Gutnug/Bloodfin

I guess Shadowfire is somewhere in the middle. The only resource that can reach above 20cpu is herbivore meat. Grinding resources can go for as little as 2.5cpu, usually things are around 5 or 6cpu. When I started as artisan I hated paying so much for resources so I personally tried selling at just above the cost of mining when I got harvestors. It seemed to have worked 'cause now I can buy 900 of decent quality resouces at 3k on the bazaar. Sold 6k of 1000 SR steel for 35k cr. Kind of shot myself in the foot there.

I've seen holos selling for as little as 300k. I've personally sold a twin crstal for 50k and 100k each (not like I need them), the going price for any crystal I've seen is 100k, but most people just aren't sure. People are offering millions for pearls, but they could easily be going for less.

I can get LLC's pre-sliced for 15k, laser carbines pre-sliced for 9k. Composite armor is the real killer, often 50k for a bracer, 80k for pants, boots or helmet, 120k for chest plate.

If you really hate the high prices, take a skill or two line in surveying, buy some harvestors, and start selling at slightly lower prices than competitors, people WILL notice and the price WILL be forced down. Maybe shadowfire just has fewer people and credits haven't been pumped into the system liek on other servers.

BTW, how does SOE plan to take credits out of the game? NPC training is all I can think of and there isn't all that much going on, so people are just gonna keep doing missions and pumping money into the system. Inflation is bound to happen because of this.

Well, on Lowca, the economy seems to be pretty low. Grinding resources are like 2 cpu, an FWG5 or a T21 unsliced is about 10k. 40 percent crafting stations or above are about 65k. Medium Naboo House is 60k, while a large is 120k.

IMO this whole economy is just sagged out., You have a few elite who run monopolies on things and then everyone else is left at their mercy and goodwill. You can either beg or scrape by, or build a store by mos entha and hope newbs are smart enough to buy food.

The genious idea of the devs with their holos I'm sure that really helps the economy. yea right. Just a sea of spammed crap on bazaars with all the disgruntled temporary artisans taking their fustrations out in lame ways.. But I never saw it any different I came like a couple days after the stupid holos. In short, this economy, holos, and jedi, sux *** everywhere IMO.

I don't understand why this idiot had to spam his post 1000 time but i think it's ridiculous and would appreciate it if someone could remove all but 1 of them.
also there are many money sinks in the game. vehicle repair, travel, maintenance on vendors, houses, PA halls, cities, harvestors, and numerous other little things.
