I just need to vent some angerFollow

Get this, just the other day, me and a friend from bria server solo'd a krayt dragon! for about 3-4 hours, we were all happy about the sick gains we would get for accomplishing a feat such as this...guess how much exp i got...just guess!! thats right, just under 3500!!!! WHAT A (BLEEPING) RIP OFF!!! and on top of that, we didnt even get any loot!!!, no pearl, no nothing!! and my friend took some screenshots, which just soo ironically "didnt save"...bah, that was a waste of 3-4 hours... so anyone out there who is thinking of soloing a krayt dragon, its not worth it! lol, and i know you will be thinking "well maybe your exp capped out" no, it didnt...i still had plenty of room for more exp, about 125k more exp...i honostly think the max exp you can get for killing something is 3500...which i think is retarded! squad leader exp for example seems limitless, i mastered the class in an hour! so why wouldnt the exp for killing stuff be limitless? i feel ripped off...lol, anyway, just had to vent some anger...see ya

You know what "solo" means, right?

Just teasing. Congrats on your great accomplishment.

LOL. I had a similar situation yesterday. But I actually got some humor out of it, rather than anger.

While on Lok, I was wandering through a Player city with two rebel faction bases on its outskirts when i happened upon a rather vicious looking dune kimogila with a large amount of HAM. For fun, I got it to aggro me and I lured it towards the faction bases. As expected, the NPC troopers patrolling the bases took the aggro from me and started tanking the kimogila. I just tacked on my own attack and started spamming carbine specials. After an enjoyable half hour of whittling its health down and taking screenshots and avoiding the occasionaly aggro, me and the npc crowd (with help from another player or two in the area) had successfully downed the beast. Sure, I only got 4300 carbine xp, but it was fun. I had the feeling, very briefly, that i was a rebel on some frontier world, pushed by the Empire, to secure a base from the surrounding environment. it was cool :)

WHAT??

You mean the experience itself was somehow rewarding, independent of the material gain? What is this, some kind of game?

Exp caps out at 5000 I believe, unless you're in a group, which is when it caps out at 6250 I believe. The only real way to get up to exp that high is to be a Rifleman and solo somehting big.

lol, well i think there should be no cap for exp, the harder the enemy should result in more exp, its a simple math equation lol, im gonna sound like a nerd, but whatever, if you simply take the creature diffuculty (be it judged by HAM, attack, defense, etc) and multiply it by the skill level you have with whatever class (be it 1111 pistoleer, etc) you can very easily come up with a good way to get a fair amount of exp, of course to stop it from getting HIGHER exp for being a 4444, the difficulty of the creature will of course fall a bit, because you are that much better than a 1111, so it will still result in fair exp, none of this "5000 max exp for a godly creature" crap... and of course they figured out how to devide the exp amongst a group already...bah, whatever lol, im not too angry about it anymore, its still a great game and i'll never quit playing lol

right, i just found a flaw in my math equation lol...i didnt pass grade 11 math yet (shhh) i guess a 0444 would be better than a 1111, and they would get alot less than a 4444 which is alot better than a 0444...and my head hurts now...lol, too much thinking...anyway, enough about that lame subject, more complaining about swg! lol, know what i hate?...shuttles! when you're 3 seconds from catching it, and it flies away on you! lol, it reminds me of when i miss the bus everyday after school...i also hate when you do miss it, the long wait for the next shuttle...i think they should either shorten the wait, or perhaps they should come up with something entertaining to do while you wait for the shuttle...and i dont mean in the literal sence of "entertainers running macros for dancing/playing music/ asking for tips while they are afk" lol, i think they should be shot its soo annoying "please tip me im poor! please watch me i need exp!" i feel like saying "please put an effort into playing the game and dont be lazy!" i think the game should get rid of the macros, everyone is getting too lazy, i saw a situtation where a whole medical center was afk, with a healing macro running on 3 tumblers who were running a macro, and also afk... like talk about lazy, they more than likely paid the tumbers to run their macro, so they are making lazy money, while the docs and meds are making lazy exp, meanwhile, people are comming in who need heals, and all the docs are busy grinding lol, it makes me mad... i also think the game should let you put bounties out on people, cuz soo many people deserve to be shot lol, and unless they are overt and of the opposite faction, you cant do a thing about it

I do that constantly, Av- let my imagination wander during the game about the game. Its the key to having fun IMO. A trip to town can ruin it tho. Then it just feels like a MMOG again.

I use the shuttle waiting time to do things I've been putting off like fixing a hotkey, fixing inven, healing pet, email, crafting muon, sampling resource. Every so often someone cools around to joke with. Yea but it does suck when it flies off especially someones waiting on you but I just solo cause I hate the stressed out feeling I get trying to please others in game. So I'm never really in a hurry most of the time. Its the good thing about not grouping with anyone.

its a real pain for an all combat person like myself lol, im a brawler 4321, marksman0404, creature handler 3232, and a master scout lol, so i cant survey, or craft useful things except for camps lol, and what do i need camps for? all i need is the one or 2 camps that takes 30 seconds to make before a mission so i can pull a pet, and then pull my vehicle to leave lol...maybe i'll drop everything when i master it all, and be an artisan/medic/boring person....lol

Camps won't be necessary for that much longer.

there you go, without crafting camps..., i'll have no use for a generic crafting tool until i take up some different professions
