Official Guide to Looting Jedi Robes

Jedi Robes & Cloaks

Scolirk wrote:
I've seen way to many posts about this, so its time for the thread about where to get them. It would be nice to get this stickied :)

Padawan Robes (Pre-NGE)
These robes were given to the Jedi when they achieved the rank of Jedi Padawan. They give 10+ to force regeneration, which is useless now. These robes cannot be looted, and cannot be respawned

Padawn Robes (NGE)
These robes are given to the Jedi after finishing the Tansarii point station quests. These cannot be looted, but they can be re-given by meditating at a force shrine, and use the "Replacement Robe" option

Initiate Robes
Initiate Robes are given to the Jedi at level 22. They are white, and can not be looted, and cannot be re-given if destroyed.

Acolyte Robes
The Acolyte Robes can be looted in the Warren, and possibly in the Corellian Captives dungeons, off Elite mobs. Kill the Imperial Workers in the warren to loot the robes. The chance of loot is about 1/75, so be patient.

Apprentice Robes
The Apprentice Robes can be looted off NPC in the Death Watch Bunker, the Corellian Corvette, on Kashyyyk, Dark Jedi Masters, Dark Jedi Knights, Nightsisters, factional city patrols in Theed and Narlem, Orphaned Marauders Cave, Shadowlands of the Ryatt Trail. They also have a low chance to loot, so be patient, you'll get them.

Jedi Knight Robes
The Jedi Knight robes can be looted off of the Sher Kar, in the Death Watch Bunker, on the Avatar Space Platform, the Corellian Corvette, on Kashyyyk, Nightsisters, Dark Jedi Masters, Dark Jedi Knights, Force Adepts, Shadowlands of the Ryatt Trail, factional city patrols in Theed and Narlem. Once again, the loot ratio is low, so be patient and you'll get them.

Elder Jedi Oppressor/Arbiter Robes
The Elder robes are granted to Jedi Elders only. They cannot be looted, and they cannot be respawned if destroyed. At the moment, the quest to replace them is being finetuned and will be realeased at the next hotfix.

Please note, that all robes drop off Elite mobs. Dont kill regular mobs and get angry if they dont drop, because they wont. Bring a friend to the dungeons that drop them so that you can get some.

First off, Knight Robes also drop in the Death Watch Bunker. I imagine Apprentice Robs have dropped before but, I've only looted Knight Robes.

Pretty much any mob above level 80 has the potential to drop a Knight Robe, from what I've seen.

Also, it should be noted that the Level +80 Blackscales On Kashyyyk, outside and inside the Blackscale Camp for example, drop Apprentice Robes...as well as the Chiss Poachers in the Kkorrwat Hunt. I've looted, or a group member has looted, an Apprentice Robe every time I've done and/or helped with that quest.

It should also be at least noted, for the sake of the newer people, that the Sher Kar instance isn't the best route to go in order to get a Knight Robe. It should be emphasized that the two best places to get a Knight Robe are the Death Watch Bunker and the Avatar Platform.

I have a lvl 48 jedi character and I was thinking to get the acolyte robes, but the Warrren seems TOO dangerous for me, so I want to find what dudgeons in Corellia are 'Corellian Captives Dudgeons' (or what dudgeon) and if the CL of the mobs there is around mine so I can get the Acolyte robes.
Thanks

I got both my apprentice and knight robes in the Shadowland trail. I was told by another jedi that the robes drop there and decided to give it a try. I think I got my apprentice robes on the sixth kill, and my knight robes on the tenth kill. It went extremely easier than I had thought it would.

I have found quite a few CL40 and CL60 robes via random drops from mobs on Rori. Just literally killing everybody I see on creature missions, my toon Iaceu picked up I think 7 robes in two days.

That was back around Christmas though, so it might have changed, but I would be surprised.

Hey guys this is my first post here although i've used the website for 2 years now. :) (BTW I love this site always helps out when i'm really in a bind....or somtimes just use it for cruising items and quests :) ) ANYWAYS this is a good list of jedi robes however i didn't see the JEDI MASTER CLOAK in this post...it is looted from one of the bosses in the HK-47 instance....(i think the 4th) It is CL80 equip...gives a +120 Constitution Buff...i THINK either +40 or +60 to agility and has static protection against. kinetic, energy, heat , cold electricy, acid....all evened out at 5.6k.....HOWEVER....WITH THIS CLOAK ALONE YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TAKE ON ELDER JEDI'S (however this is the best CLOAK you can have with out being an elder jedi).... The elder jedi's robe is maxed at 6.5k protection against all defenses...so pretty much they can take whatevery u can throw....i have been messing around for about a week on how to make my cl 90 respec jedi more powerful and have found this: pretty much everything i have been doing works....getting agility and constitution as ur first highest buffs (on ur character screen letter "c" in game ) then strength....then stamina....also buff urself with foods...i use flamout (+75 con, +25 agi, stam) and Nutron Pixie (+50 to con, agi, stam ) u can also stack the Miner's medallion (+100 agil) and jedi def stance...favor of the elder's etc... with all this i have only just begun to hang toe to toe with an elder jedi....HOWEVER THERE IS ANOTHER SOLUTION but the choice is up to u....there is now jedi armor in game with static protection better than that of the elder robes i've seen as high as 6.7+k static protection....(mostly on one or two elementals) ur challenge would be to find the right combination...(shirt, pants, hat, jacket) of of jedi armor to put all ur stats up past 6,5k...another desicion u would have to make(which is why i personlly have yet to look very much further into jedi armor) is whether or not you want to give up the +120 constitution buff from the JMC (jedi master cloak)...anyway if i end up going that route i'll post one back here that explains how it goes :)

Does anyone know if equipping a cybernetic arm will prevent me from wearing jedi robes? I have read that cybernetics take an armor slot.

Forgive my noobish question, but, are Jedi robes better than conventional armor?
#19 Mar 16 2007 at 3:32 AM Rating: Decent
jedi robes are what jedi use for armor, and can only be worn by jedi chars...not better than conventional.

Should I wear armor then? Can Jedi even wear armor? I know a long time ago... Jedi could wear armor.

For the CL60 robe...
If you have a higher level friend who can help go to the Singing Mountain vs. Nightsister battle field on Dath and kill the CL77 Nightsisters there. I got 6 of the dark and one light colored robe after about 4 hours of fighting.

For solo Rebel Jedi... kill the CL71 Faction Elites in Bestine. There will be one spawned guarding the enterence to the Starport and another paths from the cloning center to the Starport enterence. They respawn about every 4 to 5 minutes so its not too bad. Just kill the lower level Imperial NPCs to fill in the gaps.

For the CL80 Jedi Knight Robes... I have been around the Galaxy looking for a place to solo to get one of these. The best place I have found is the Shadowlands Trail on the Wookie homeworld. Kill the Gutals there...I got 2 light Knight robes after about 2 hours. Most of the Gutals are in groups of 2 and are CL80 - CL82 Elites

Crazy question but what are the level requirements for these robes if there even are any? I have a level 65 jedi and do not own any robes. Also, does it matter if you are a dark jedi?
#24 Jun 04 2007 at 6:33 AM Rating: Decent
Whoops!! Maybe I should read the posts before I do. Nevermind about the level requirements.
