I certainly hope this section isn't dead. I've only just discovered it. :D
I love the hell out of EVE. I have seven accts. I custom built my latest rig to play 4 instances of EVE. With my old desktop supporting the three other accts, I'm a corp all my own. It took some significant getting used to. I can't war, or even PvP, all that effectively with more than two of them, but mining runs can get kind of rediculous running 3 freighters picking up my cans on a single run. I just love this game. I trade, I war, I pirate [ hunting only those I don't like, of course ], I mine. From my first 14-day trial period, I was hooked. My second & third accts came after two days of strong play. I like the people too. Generally speaking, of course, people tend to be willing to help others. Corps actually are loyal within ranks, more than I've found in other games [ WoW, for instance ], Alliance wars are something to behold & exciting to participate in.
I still have a certain amount of disdain for BoB, but that's only because I haven't been too impressed by those belonging to it. It seems that the BoB has gotten too big, letting not very impressive people join their ranks. Tenfooterten, I don't mean to speak unkindly of you or your alliance, but honestly man, you've got to know what I'm talking about. The BoB definately has some of the best players in EVE, but there is a lot of riffraff. At least, there was when I was playing last...
Sadly though, my perspective is somewhat aged. I've been deployed for a little while and I am aching to make my return. When I do, I'll make an attempt to add what I can to this section. Make it a bit more... lively. :)
