I seriously hate to say it but this section is almost close or as is quite well dead. There isnt anything here to keep people here, this inst a source of info, the fourm isnt too well built let alone not enoguh folks come by and those that do have no reason to retrun. this needs to change if you want to make good use of this webspace.

Seeing as how this is a newer addition to Allakhazam, it might take some time to come together. Of course player submissions would go a long way to helping the site itself grow. As does word of mouth to friends that play the game. Unfortunately Alla is playing catch-up to all of the other EVE sites. If history is any indication, Alla will do quite well eventually.

luckily I realised that Alla had this...

I like the game a ton so far, if I still am into it in 2 months or so I might finally ditch FFXI.

You should quit FFXI! /grin I killed a 3year old toon to have more Eve time. Eve has a lot more to offer than FFXI.

I acTually, just stumbled here.I didn't know alla had an EVE section.
I have played the free trial, and it did it no justice, so i wanted to find more player based info on the game.I may take it on as a second, or maybe even quit FFXI all together.

Haven't decided yet though.

To be honest I found the few people that post here to be quite knowledgable in answering any questions I have. As far as info goes...I think it is starting to grow. Most of the info that is put up in the other forums was done by posters no the Admins. Most of the Admins just either stickied or transplanted them to fit the site. In time this forum will grow. When I first started looking here there was only two people that were really posting. Now I post sometimes and I've noticed a few others that have begun to ask questions.

I just think it's good to see what others are doing in game, to get an idea for it.Like, if you never played FFXI before, you could read those forums for days lol.Nice refrence material there.

I certainly hope this section isn't dead. I've only just discovered it. :D

I love the hell out of EVE. I have seven accts. I custom built my latest rig to play 4 instances of EVE. With my old desktop supporting the three other accts, I'm a corp all my own. It took some significant getting used to. I can't war, or even PvP, all that effectively with more than two of them, but mining runs can get kind of rediculous running 3 freighters picking up my cans on a single run. I just love this game. I trade, I war, I pirate [ hunting only those I don't like, of course ], I mine. From my first 14-day trial period, I was hooked. My second & third accts came after two days of strong play. I like the people too. Generally speaking, of course, people tend to be willing to help others. Corps actually are loyal within ranks, more than I've found in other games [ WoW, for instance ], Alliance wars are something to behold & exciting to participate in.

I still have a certain amount of disdain for BoB, but that's only because I haven't been too impressed by those belonging to it. It seems that the BoB has gotten too big, letting not very impressive people join their ranks. Tenfooterten, I don't mean to speak unkindly of you or your alliance, but honestly man, you've got to know what I'm talking about. The BoB definately has some of the best players in EVE, but there is a lot of riffraff. At least, there was when I was playing last...

Sadly though, my perspective is somewhat aged. I've been deployed for a little while and I am aching to make my return. When I do, I'll make an attempt to add what I can to this section. Make it a bit more... lively. :)

Oh, i'm not in BoB in EVE anyway.Nor do i plan on joining them.I said kind of partial, but only because of the name.I actually joined a small player corp called Dark Armada.

The guy who runs it seems pretty nice, and helpful, seeing how i only have 2 days into the game so far.

Oh, no worries man. I just saw the BoB mention in your signature. :D I'll answer any questions I can. I haven't played in months because of being deployed, so I'm not privy to all the Revelations changes. It pains me so. D:

Consider me a friend when I start playing again. :D

The BoB reference in his sig is for FFXI. The San' Doria part gave it away to me. Had me scratching my head like WTF...when I read this thread last night.
