OH! I forgot Warsong and King's Bounty for the Sega Genesis. I played the living **** out of those nonstop. Warsong in particular was fantastic.

Final Fantasy (the original, started it all)

Okay, how can you have Counter-Strike: Source on the list when you don't have Half-Life nor Half-Life 2? There's not even a story in Counter-Strike...

10. DQ VIII - PS2 - playing it now, it's a lot of fun
9. Devil May Cry - PS2 - even though I can't get very far, it's just an awesomely cool game
8. FFX-2 - PS2 - thought the gameplay was better than FFX, and FFX was like a badly written teenage soap opera - raging hormonal angst and no subtlety
7. Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 3 (unknown Japanese sim game) - PS2 - not original but fun and pretty (it's for girls)

5. Radiata Stories - PS2 - people complain that it's too short, but it's so well-done and fun to play
