And anyone know what it would be like?
Or will there be item sets or just random items put together?
And if anyone has any info about the End-game of LOTRO at all please post.

I'm curious about this game but dont wanna play if theres no end-game.

Thanks in advanced,

Larik

I think its a bit up in the air still. Since the game is still in beta, and the pre-order characters (which carry over to launch) are level capped, I don't suppose there is a lot in terms of end game material at the moment. Keep in mind this game has not even launched yet. As I recall in WoW (using WoW as example since your sig indicated you play it :P) there wasn't much in terms of endgame when it first came out, but a lot was released over time, as I expect it will with this game. This seem reasonable since presumably not many people are going to be at end game that soon

Of what I've read the developers have been hinting at the content, so you may want to check out the dev posts on the official forums for further info.

I'm sure there will be much more end game content. Perhaps they will tweak monster player a bit more and you can get gear rewards from that too. But yeah like ddtemplar said, it's still in it's infancy. Give it some time to grow.

They've made statements to the effect that "endgame" will not be focused on raids to get the best gear. Since this isn't an item-centric game like FFXI, WoW or EQ that stands to reason. Getting the awesome loot shouldn't be the only reason to raid, you should want to do it because it's fun, and raiding won't be the only way to get that loot.

The initial release only incudes content up to the middle of the Fellowship of the Ring (or the end of Book 1). Considering we have 5 more books to go, they have a lot of story content to add. If they add it fast enough
