I don't have a map but I would recommend you stay on the path and just follow it wherever it goes around the Shire and *presto* your shire map will be filled out and you can see where you need to go. In case you don't already know pressing M opens your in-game map. Also the troll and cow are the other direction. You sound like you took a left off the road into the swamp when you need to take a right. You will be able to see the stone troll for a little distance away on the top of a mound.

We have most of the NPCs in the shire mapped. The easiest thing to do is to earch for the postman you are looking for and check out where he shows up on the map. For example http://lotro.allakhazam.com/db/bestiary.html?lotrmob=303

the cow thing says south east of needle-north road, so i go south east on my compass but if wht u saying is true im going south west--.--

is the compass inlined with map? or is it just a silly north south basic compass(maybe im exspecting to much from a game map)

anyhow il try going right instead of left towards the dourlands.

p.s the shire has loads of "go find mr x" or find mr/mrs xx" ect quests unlike (bad spell) erin lion where it go get or kill beast x ect.

p.s im lvl 13/14 should i bother with shire quests? or go to monster land and have some fun there?, sinse the only reson im in shire is to get some dam cash sinse this game DOESNT reward you for farming ect.:(

also i want to get my invisable trait:)

The compass is pretty straight forward Top is north, bottom south, and right is East, left is West.
Whether to bother with the quests is you personal choice. You can get to 15 in just Erud Luin alone and then when cap is gone you will be questing in Bree and beyond. I like to do them all because they all seem to have some small(or large) story attached to them but if that isn't your cup of tea then feel free to skip them.
As far as cash goes..in closed beta the quests used to offer decent cash however I find mob farming more profitable. Perhaps you haven't find the right things to farm. Humanoid mobs(dwarves, goblins, etc) drop copper as well as items. Mobs that drop light and medium hides are nice as well to sell on the auction house. If you didn't pick scholar profession finding aged scraps of text(also dropped off humanoids) will net you some quick cash on AH.

this AH how does it work??
also i have some weapon+armour rescipes, most of them r useless to me, will they sell more in AH than sellling to AI controlled ppl which offer the same price when i click "sell" option.??

Maybe you got your answer in game already but if not... The Ah works like any standard mmo auction house. Its pretty self explanatory when you open it up. As far as the recipes are vendor trash right now because there are just so many up. If your bored you can browse the recipes up and if you have something original then post it otherwise just sell to a vendor.
