I pre-ordered the game, and I was wondering if anyone knew how I got my character to transfer over to the live server. I mean I could always make a new account, but I would prefer not to. I am however excited that I will be able to play it for 10$ a month. I love that offer.
But any help is appreciated!

If you apply your preorder key to your existing account you should be able to transfer your characters over.

Go into your account page on turbine's site and there is a place to enter a new key. Just enter it there and you should be all set.

Well, do you want to keep your characters and get the cloak? Because, afaik, if you don't enter it BEFORE you enter your retail key from the boxed game, you don't. Your account right now isn't flagged as founder, and only founders keep their chars and get the cloaks. AFAIK you can't get your account flagged as founder if you enter your code AFTER the game releases, or at least after you enter a retail key...
Please what is AFAIK?
And I want to keep my characters, get the founder status with the lowered monthly fee and items.
