For all of us who are outside of North America (or the E.U.?) and so weren't able to play the Beta...

1. How many characters are you allowed for the same monthly fee?

2. Are there any storage problems? Do you run out of inventory space a lot?

3. Is it one class per character, or many classes on one character?

(I played FFxi then WOW. I thought that not being allowed to play more than one class on the same character was the stupidest idea ever... and then I saw what it meant in practise. In FFxi I never had even close to a reasonable amount of storage space, since I had to store complete gear and item sets for every job/class. It took me half an hour to change jobs/classes, since I ended up storing so much gear in the mail-box.

4. How colourful is the game? I mean this literally. WOW has many brightly coloured areas, and I find I respond to this much more positively than to the (to my tastes) bland tertiary coloured landscapes in FFxi. The armour, too in WOW was heaps more colourful, and I prefer that as well. (We shall not talk about the shoulder-pads.)

5. How many things are you allowed to list on the AH at one time? Is it easy enough to find information in the Auction House?

6. How many things can you send through the mail-box at one time? Are there a lot of mail-boxes around?

7. What are the travel times like? Are they reasonable?

8. Is it fun? I know this is very much a matter of taste, but there are some games that you can say are just too hard work, for the reward you get out of it... or just too easy to be fun, or just not enough in it to be interesting.

9. Are there any "gathering professions" ?

5 Per server.

Depends one who you ask I think personal bags I got plenty of room but the Bank need more room for the crofters

3. Is it one class per character, or many classes on one character?
One class per Character

Well the overall graphic are pretty good even for my lower end system and heard they very good on better puter than me. But some people do not like the character animations but they seem fine for me but maybe a higher end system pick it up better than mine. Also up to 15 at least the armorer is lot more realistic than Wow and not as colorful but it does fit the game and in it own way it pretty good.

5. How many things are you allowed to list on the AH at one time? Is it easy enough to find information in the Auction House?

Just as good as WoW's and do not know the limit.

6. How many things can you send through the mail-box at one time? Are there a lot of mail-boxes around?

Mail is instant no wait. there seem to be plenty of mailboxes outside the starting area.

7. What are the travel times like? Are they reasonable?

Hard to say for me since the hole game is not out some and it's all opinion really some likes it some think it to small

It a very quest based game and for me it lot of fun. It all depends on the person. it fun for some and not for others. Right now it does not seem as a hardcore game. Like FFXI or even as hardcore as WoW. But then again it about the same in leveling as in WOW for the first 15 but with more quest

Pelachas got all teh cold facts right, but I figured I'd chyme in some of ym own opinions.

2. I have yet to have enough sotrage problems to warrant using a bank alt, but I can get full sometimes. I've sold a lot recently so my bank is full and inventory rmpty. Before that I'd say my bank would be full and about 1/5-2/5 of my inventory full at all times.

4. I find the early armor designs to be somewhat dull. You can use dyes to dye your armor to your color of choice, but it is desinged to look like something people in middle earth would realistically wear (so kind of peasanty). I have seen a few high level screenshots and they do get better, but it's never going to be as flashy as WoW. I'm like you and like more color and style.

5. I believe maybe around 20-30 items can be lsited at any one time.

6. Lots of mailboxes, instant mai l(no waiting 1 hour like in WoW) and I believe there is a high cap on mail storage.

8. The gameplay thus far as been pretty similar to WoW. You get quets from npcs, go do teh quests solo or in a group, and get the reward. There are group isntances like in WoW as well. I've been having a pretty good time, not sure if you enjoy the same things I do though.

As for (9), there is an "Explorer" profession which is prospecting (gathering ore), forestry (gathering/preaparing wood & preparing hides) and tailoring. Since hides are all drops, that's easy access to tradeskill components for weaponsmithing, armorsmithing, tailoring, jewelry & woodworking.
