My offer to prospective playersFollow

Greetings and welcome to the Allahkazam LotRO forums. I started playing this game when I got my closed beta invite back in February. I was lucky enough to experience the game prior to buying it, unlike many prospective players. I understand how you guys may feel. I was uncertain about this game too, especially after the blunder with Asheron's Call 2. Yet, Turbine pulled through, and they succeeded. I could not imagine this game being developed by any other company now. That's how great of a job Turbine did with Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar.

For the sake of fairness to players who want a trial key, I will set up a small contest. You must submit a essay detailing why you want to play the game, and what race/class combinations you will try. The essay must also be no less than 600 words. It may seem like a large number of words, but rest assured it's easier than you may think. The first person to either pm the essay, or post it in this thread will win the trial key. Oh, and it has to be semi-legible.

The first person to send me an essay, with 600 or more words in it will win. I will judge the time by the timestamp on the post/message. Make sure it contains 600 words right off the bat, because I will not accept another essay from you if you have to put more words in.

I personally think this is the best way to promote literacy among prospective players. Please do not be offended by it. I am just trying to weed the 1337 speakers from the players who could actually contribute to the community of the server you roll on.

This contest is not hosted by Allakhazam, nor is it hosted by Turbine. I assure you the rightful winner will recieve his trial key.
