So, how did you do this weekend? Reach the goals you had set out on Friday?

I somewhat did with my goals. I wanted to reach 20, which didn't happen, however I completed all quests and deed's in Ered Luin (at least for now). On I start in the Shire/Bree to work on Deeds and title's.

I did manage to get to 20 on my hunter. (yay me!) Dual Wield & 'Rain of Arrows' are MINE! I also spent a little time on my minstrel generating some cash flow and taking him most of the way to lvl 16.

As a bonus, I took my hobbit burgler well into his cooking profession, completing the first two legs of the journey to culinary excellence! Now I just have to level him up so that he can survive the trip to Weathertop!

All in all, I guess it was a pretty good weekend here!

Mostly got done what I wanted. Did chapters 1-11 with my hunter, and got him close to level 18 in the process. I'm still learning the little things to playing him effectively, and I got very frustrated with him on Saturday afternoon. My problem is I've spent entirely too much time solo in this game. I got into a great pick up group to do chapters 1-11 and I really got to see for the first time what this class is capable of in groups. I really need to start grouping more with other TINFS members Smiley: grin

Didn't do much with my champion at all, and just did a little crafting with my minstrel. Finally started to use the auction house a little. I'm very cash poor at the moment, but the auction house looks like it may be able to help me with that problemSmiley: lol

Hit level 23 (barely) by bedtime on Sunday so I met my goal of levelling up some. Got into some pretty decent pick-up groups for the Goblin Leader and Weathertop quests in Lone Lands. Weathertop was a hoot and the first group I tried it with wiped hard on the final boss since my Captain was the only healer. The second time, with a minstrel, we cleaned house impressively well with a lvl 18-21 group (and the guardian being the lvl 18).

Decided to spread my love around and left Lonelands for the verdant pastures of Northern Downs. Orcs are pretty much orcs wherever you go but I had fresh quests to start on. Banged out some quests in Trestlebridge and then went wandering until I stumbled across Estildile (That right? Estil-something) and hit a few orange con quests there. Looted my first Sturdy Hides killing lvl 26 wargs for a quest which made me happy (both the hides and killing wargs).

Finished Sunday trying to complete a few Trestlebridge quests. We did one alright but the group had little clue on the second. Without going into details let me just say that, if you're a hunter, please don't yoink aggro off the tanking champion on the pull and then run around in circles, failing your arms and screaming "Get it off me!"

Oh, and the halbred reward from Goblin Leader I was so jazzed up about getting? Won it on Saturday, obsolete on Sunday from my Trestlebridge quest reward Smiley: laugh

I didn't do too bad but not close to what I wanted to get done.

LOTRO: I got my Minstrel to 8 and invited to TINFS, thanks Tomec. I'm really enjoying her but I also made a guardian that is lots of fun, I think I may do like I did in WoW for a few levels and bounce back and forth with the rested xp to see which one I really prefer. I have a funny feeling it will be the minstrel though. Either I'm just not facing hard things but with some quick song twisting I can take on mobs that I probably shouldn't. We'll see how that works out over some more levels though.

RL: Oh yeah! The weather was amazing and got to ride to Heber Springs for their little festival. It wasn't all it was cracked up to be but was a great ride up just the same.

Got to level 13 on my Hobbit Burglar. A good thing I enjoy the shire because though some of the quests require a great deal of running around.

Just getting a feel for the game.

I'm in the same boat as you, Tsakiera. I leveled my Guardian to 15 (almost 16), and then I branched off to try alts. Leveled up each class to at least lv 8, and so far, the only other class that holds my interest is the Minstrel. Unfortunately, it holds my interest a little too much, as I am now torn between these two vastly different classes.

If there was one thing I didn't want, it was the very same thing that so long kept me from having a 60 toon in WoW... indecision. Don't get me wrong--it can be a great thing to level two toons, but I really want to see end-game content this time around, and by the time I got my three 60s in WoW, the expansion was coming out and I missed most of the content that my guild was running.

I think that in the end, I'll probably go with the Minstrel to the cap first. Tanking can be very difficult in this game what with how hard it is to hit moving mobs, and I think I like the calm of sitting back and healing. While difficult in its own right, healing is at least something that doesn't require a ridiculous amount of multi-tasking like tanking.
