I think that you should choose any server and there will be a sign to tell if your friend is on that server and you can choose any server like a poplated server or low poplated server so there won't be that many problems and new people shouldn't have any problems and theres so much lag in pvp that you can barely shoot. And new/elder people can meet new people around the world and it will just be more fun and not just stay on one server for the rest of your days i know that you can create new characters but do people really want to get to combat lvl 90 all over again do you really want to take another month to get to 90 I hope that they will change it :)

i agree with mow, wtf are you talking about. you can choose your server from day one. you can even change the server you are on but it will cost you. depending on what you want exactly like all your stuff or not it will be a diffrent price to change. you got problems with lag perhaps upgrade your system.
i think i know what he means, in guildwars you can move your character between servers fairly freely, and he'd like to do the same with swg, its a shame that you can't, the 'grind' is really not fun at all, and having to do it more than once because you want to move servers makes it a lot worse.
its a good thing you cant, that would suck ***, then wed not only have fotm classes, wed have fotm servers, and there would be no economy, even compared to now
they should take notes from runescape (just not too many) and let you pick your server every time you log in, its only the 21rst century after all

but you cant, your character is made on that server, not to mention the other things i mentioned,economy, and crap like that
I think there should be a free move for "designated" players to a server of OUR choice personally.
You know something along the lines of the housing clean up.
A player spams in the SP, starts jumping around like a frenzied bunny on crack, find they cant hold on to their larva cannon without squezzing a few rounds out etc, you know all the annoying little stiff the kids do these days, We can then assign to have that player transfered.
Upon assigning a player for transfer, all their houses are packed in to their data pad, their computer crashes and when they reboot all thier toons are tied to errrrr well we can negotiate on which server we keep them tied to lol.
Oh a girl has to have her dreams you know. :P
