Rich Iron/Gold ZonesFollow

I am lv 20 and just entered the Lone Lands. Can I expect to find Rich Iron/Gold in this zone? Where will I start finding these ores?

There are also Rich Iron and Gold nodes in the North Downs to the north of the Greenway (Fields of Fornost) and to the east.

edit: I would wait until you're level 23 or so before attempting the nodes in the North Downs.

Unless you make your way to Nan Amlung where all you have to deal with are vast herds of aurochs as far as the eye can see


My (perhaps mistaken) understanding is that the mobs are all on the same spawns, but wargs/bats/giants are aggressive and normal whereas aurochs are passive and elite. So lots of wargs, etc die and lots of aurochs spawn and aren't often killed leading to great fields of cow...
