I've been ninja'd a coupla times,I must admit to a momentary irritation, but then its easier just to move on than it is to argue about it. I'm usually on at 'off' times tho so it hasn't really been a problem. I even manage to get the Red Swamp Norbogs to myself!
But if I want to waste my time arguing about something with a person I've never met, or will ever meet, then i'll go to the Asylum.
Tho, being in a guild of hundreds and rarely seeing anyone else on, does make me feel like 'Johnny No-mates' at times.....

scenario of what happens all the damn time:
i run up to a node. there seems to be a champion fighting a lynx or some crap near the node! oh well. node's mine. does it have his name on it? did he tell me to stop because he's fighting something? does he even WANT the node?
while you're asking yourself these questions, i have 2 more silver ore and the other guy is off to a different node, because he GOT OVER IT.
children, please, lets just learn to get along. stop fighting because someone "STOLE" something that isnt even yours.

FYI, I dont spend 10 minutes arguing about stolen nodes. I usually just /say GD node stealer! and move on. Shame surprisingly works sometimes.
I didn't say it was wrong, I said it was rude. I doubt people intentionally go out to ninja loot, but when the opportunity presents itself, some do not hesitate. Rude, end of story. Not whining, just stating an opinion.
Like node stealing, people with long-range attacks tapping mobs in front of a hiding burglar about to pounce is rude, but I suppose that's ok too? Sorry dude didn't see you again for the fourth time...

When I get a node stolen, I don't dwell on it. i might do a /rude or /angry and move on. But, the name of the char who did it does get registered in my memory as an ***. Who knows how long I'll remember that, but repeat offenders make it easy to remember.
Its just common courtesy, of course there are no rules preventing node stealing. but, in real life, when you have your blinker on waiting for someone to pull out of a parking spot, it is common courtesy for others to let you have that spot. Or if you are standing in line for something, it is common courtesy for someone else to not cut in. You don't have your name on the spots, and it is not illegal for someone else to take the spot. but doing so, definitely makes you an *** in people's eyes and not many people would like to interact with you.
But, judging from your responses, you don't have a problem being known as a jerk and an *** anyway. Prolly a result of the anonymity of being on just a messageboard behind a handle.
