I am trying to use the cordinate's I see on the quest but how do I use them if i dont see anything on the map about them fro where my mouse pointer is and if I dont see an addon to view them ingame, I looked around to see if there was somthing like Cosmos used for Wow but saw nothing.

From the FAQ

Quote:

Q: How do I do locs and stuff?
A: Type ;loc in a tell to yourself (yes you can) so that when you get your NESW coords, they only go to you, and no one else.

As for something like Cosmos or many other addons, LotRO doesn't really support scripting addons like that would be. Most of the "addons" are just re-skinning of the existing UI.

Unfortunatly the only coordinates you have ingame is by typing /loc in chat.

However there is a better alternative ... using dynamic map: http://mehq.net/dynmap/index.php

I'm sorry, but that is wrong. As I said in my above post, quoted directly from the FAQ here on the forums, if you type ;loc (VERY important to use ; not /) you will get your current NSEW coords sent to whatever your current chat channel is.

yes, /loc will work but like noop said they are all messed up (they are actually your xyz coords on the server) and unusable for quests and stuff. However, if you open a chat window, and type in ;loc you will get your NSEW like i've been trying to say.

You can also send them to your self as a tell so no one else has to read them.

dynamic map: http://mehq.net/dynmap/index.php

Woot! This map rocks!! Thank you!!!

I wrote a little script--> Alias: /t yourtoonsname ;loc <-- that lets me use a quick-key to send myself a tell w/my current coord's. Using the dynamic map in conjunction with my script makes it much easier to complete quests.
