Talk to the kash station, do the missions for her, and when she asks your looking for something a bit more challenging.

and check the sticky, there a pretty decent if not slightly out-of-date walkthou in there, the out of date part is how stupidly easy it is now.

You have to complete the Civilian Protection Guild quests...you can pick up these quests by completing the missions from space station above Kashyyyk.

http://swg.allakhazam.com/db/quests.html?swgquest=609 gotta give Instigator & Kiithid thier props

She will direct you to Eyma, he's at Kachirho on Kashyyyk at Loc: -550, -218 The last mission that you get in this line you will recieve the Adv. X-Wing is a recapture of a Corvette. This can be soloed, but what I have read you need access to level 10 equipment. I have yet to complete this mission..I haven't gone back after getting smoked by the corvette twice. Although I know I can take it now I have many other quests to do now. Including finishing my master pilot and Kashyyyk quests. The Adv. X-Wing is a very good fighter for space grinding and ship to ship battle because of the heavy weapon load out and mass, so it is a very sought after fighter.

Azrielis the mission is real easy no need for lvl 10 equipment.

The escort missions before you get the Vette mission are all pretty easy since they broke escort missions. hell i dont think i even chipped up for most of them.

The vette mission its self TBH is a joke.

Head the the intercept point, by this time the escort fighters will be miles behind, you dont even have to bother with them, i do just cause i dont like leaving things behind me to sneek up and cosh me later lol.

So the vette will happly fly its course, from well out side a click a way get your self possitioned under it aiming at gun 5, I like to get my self right under it and go in straight line and give it hell!

Sweep in take gun 5 retreat

Head out a click or so in front. Remember stay under the mid point of the vette so the top guns cant get you, take out the shileds. Drop under it again, Fall in behind the engines and take them out. Once the engines are taken out hold position. do not stray in to its line of fire!

Then follow it home, the spawn waves that attack are pretty easy, but if you have probs sit back and make them come aross the vette, she'll help you out.

Following these tatics the only time the vette can actually hit you is while your disabling gun 5, the rest of the time your out of its firing arcs so its easy pickings.

Actually, follow EmJay's suggestions but there's an even easier way to do this.

When the Corvette is alone. If you have a Mark III Proton Missile Launcher (or Mark II Image Rec) with a good size load along with decent shields.

Just get directly behind the craft, it is completely blind there. Target with '[' or ']' until you get Weapon 5, destroy that with missiles. That way, when you get into trouble when the Corvette shifts or turns, all you have to do is fly underneath it.

Now, after destroying Weapon 5, aim for the shields. Destroy those, you will be able to target the Engines, any missiles left or fall back a bit then Destroy the engines.

Now, just wait and follow it home because once you have it, it's clear to finish.

Remember...The Top Gun school in the U.S. Navy was created because pilots got to dependent on missles and lost thier dogfighting ability during the Korean and Vietnam coflicts. Go to guns like Emjay said I you will much better for in the future...plus the more your comfortable you are with menuvering your ship the better you will be for PVP in space as well. Now to metion you might enjoy drawing the battle out a little....I do.

I have never once used a missile or timebomb or any other ordinance for ships, I think they're a waste of money.

What level pilot are you...are you imp or reb...have you done any of the other station quests...these area all things that may be affecting this. Racer may have better answers than that, but without that information we won't be able to help at all.

If you have not landed on Kashyyyk via from the station, you have to at least once. Then re-enter from the ground.

I guess you need the badge ...has visited the capitol Kachiro or something like that to start it.

yeah like Aayliah says you have to have landed there, your a high enough pilot to do the mission,

Other than that its not so much looking for work if i remember you ask the station whats going on around there.

Hmmm, I guess my next question is this: Do I keep doing missions for the Kashyk station to get the advanced x-wing, or do I need to do some missions for the Rebel Outpost too?

I'm obviously missing something here. I'm certified to fly the Advanced X-Wing, and I just completed the mission which gives me the deed. When I try to use the deed to generate a ship, though, I get a message saying "You do not have the badge necessary to fly that ship."

You need at least 5 badges and the mission complete to fly it.
#18 Jun 15 2007 at 7:18 PM Rating: Decent
just regular badges?

yeah just regular badges, but not so much 5 badges, but the has 5 badges badge.

But i thought that was only for unpacking the deed, i didn't it effected getting the mission.

You dont have any current space missions in your journal or Datapad such as from your trainer or anything do you? that can affect you picking up new space missions.
