Greetings,

I am looking for quite a bit now to get a sortable list of all the mastery items used in crafting, but no luck yet...

I already found http://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Crafting_master_items and http://www.lotro-crafting.com/craftingmobs.aspx, which are useful indeed. BUT, they do not provide a list where I have the items in an alphabetical order PLUS the profession which can use it...

i.e.
name | profession | tier
Blackened Huorn Root | Metalsmith | 2
Diminutive Wight Barrow Treasure | Jeweler | 1
Dirty Bat Claw | Metalsmith | 1
Dirty Spider Eye| Scholar | 1
.
.
.
Windscreamer's Claw | Jeweler | 4 (?)

this would greatly help, to send the mastery items to the correct alt quickly...

thank you in advance :)

Haha funny you mention that because this morning I decided durning downtime to lookup the mastery items I had to see which I would need to hang onto and which I could sell. I figured It would be easier to just look up my profession's mastery items and sell everything else, but so far its too much trouble. If this type of list exists I would like to see it as well.

I'm working on expanding my list appropriately, but the problem is that some items can be used in (say) both jeweller and metalsmith recipes...

Would you want : (examples)
(A)

  • Blackened Huorn Root - Metalsmith Tier 2
  • Blackened Huorn Root - Jeweller Tier 2
  • Blackened Huorn Root - Cook - Tier 2
  • Diminutive Wight Barrow Treasure - Jeweller - Tier 2

etc

or (B) (which is trickier to code, but would probably be what I'd aim to do)

  • Blackened Huorn Root - Tier 2 - Metalsmith
  • Jeweller
  • Diminutive Wight Barrow Treasure - Tier 1 - Jeweller

ok, it appears I can't nest lists here.. but basically the first one would show duplicate item names, the second wouldn't. I'll have a play tonight and see what I can do, but I don't have many linked recipes yet...

BTW I am going to split my table back into rare items (from named mobs) and mastery items.. but adding more items to the DB and recipes and so on has seemed more of a priority..

Having nested recipe lists would be a great idea if you can get the coding in Ariadne.

Something like this mebbe? (bear in mind my coding here is way rusty anymore but I think the tags are somewhat accurate for the post)

Main item
    Drop Area #1

    Drop Area #2

                    Crafting Tier

                                 Recipe it's used in #1

                                 Recipe it's used in #2

I haven't been to your site to check it out yet so please humor me if you are already doing something like this. But I am a big fan of nested lists and frames when I do page design for some of my clients so I thought that might help folks. Especially people like me with visual issues.

ok, a list is up. It's not the tidiest - I will be working on it when my asp.net guru comes for a visit..

I couldn't *quite* manage to do the nested thing myself, so if there's more than one type of recipe on my DB, then the item name appears twice..

Click on the item name for a detailed list of recipes.

Please also bear in mind that I don't have (by a long shot) all the recipes in my DB yet, but the tables are automatically linked and will grow as recipe numbers increase.

http://www.lotro-crafting.com/index.aspx

then look for mob locations - either mastery, rare or all, then click the button that says "click here for recipe detail".

Allakhazam's list I started a couple months ago and had to stop to do other things. Now that things around here are calming, I may be able to get back on it with your help.

Hi Darqflame -

My interpretation is that these people want to know from the list which professions use the items, and currently neither of those lists of yours tell them that :) (although I'm sure they will eventually)..

It was partially all the wonderful info on allakhazams and my love of crafting (aided by eqtraders) that started me up doing my own website - I neither have the time nor energy to do it "all" like Allakhazams (it's only me working on it!) but I figure I've got enough time to make it a good crafting reference. I don't want to step on anyones toes, and I link to Allakhazams from my website :)
