I can't register on the Lotro forums!!!!!Follow

Everytime I try it says something like, "The Administrator has disabled registration."

Does anybody know why? I have so many questions, and want a forum with lots of people. (No Offense)

You have to purchase the retail game to make an account. During account creation you make a forum account at the same time.

Typical forum behavior at the "official" sites tends to consist of whining about class imbalance (read as "I am not as powerful as that other guy of a different class so you need to make me uber. waa waa"), trolling, flaming, assaulting newbies to the forums (and calling them the really cool names like noob, ****, etc etc.), threatening legal action about developers doing something that some armchair lawyer thinks is some supposed breach of contract, the list goes on and on. Really, unless you have a desire to be publicly abused by some person who lives to make everyone else's life miserable or just need a good laugh, you will get far better information at a fansite. And considerably less drama. Just my opinion based on my years of attempting to get help at those boards and finally saying "wtf am I doing to myself coming here?"...
