I remember I saw a really cool one from Fornost iirc, but I forget the name of it and while I thought I had taken a screen of it, I hadn't... >_<

So do I, on my hunter at least. Just seems "right" for him to be running around in just his leather armor, without a helm obstructing his vision or a cloak hindering him being able to draw arrows.

Ahhh, but Legolas was wearing a cloak and he just had the quiver outside it! He was deadly too Smiley: lol Plus, in the movies at least since it didn't happen in the book iirc, didn't all those other elven archers have the helm thingies? Not that it doesn't make sense to not wear a helm which could possibly hender your vision!

Most of the helms at (lower levels anyway) look dorky. I had my hobbit barefoot (no boot graphic) for a bit before I dyed them from a hideous and conspicuous RED (would not do for a burglar) to olive color. Hobbits are a natural for barefootness, not so much other races.

Most of the cloaks I have seen are two-tone (other than the pre-order free cloak). Fairly boring and I'd rather my toons not look like most everyone else so I ditched the graphic. The cloak you get from Heading West is distinctive in that you get a hood graphic (overwrites the helm graphic). Kinda neat looking on my elf loremaster.

I saw one on the official site, think it was the winner of the cloak contest they had where you design one and they pick a winner, it looked pretty cool actually, might of been the heading west one but not 100% sure.

i heard you had to have the collectors addition to have a cloak that isn't green, blue, or red and grey is that true?

Not true. There are a few looted cloaks that are different.

Player-crafted cloaks also have a different look than the usual two-tone scheme that you get from quests.
