I was wondering if anyone has messed with the Ore consignment quest @ Thorins Gate or the Hide consignment quest in Overhill and what if any success have they had with it.

Anyone? I have tried the 30 silver one about 6 times and so far it doesn't seem to be worth it. I hear you can get named mob ingredients from these randomly, but was thinking maybe they nerfed it.
I've been doing the 10sp Scholar quests in Dulliond, trying to get 3rd age relics to finish Apprentice since they don't spawn practically anywhere like mining/wood nodes.
I did one 20sp one and got a trophy item I have to see what it is used for though.
Anyone have suggestions for (apprentice) Scholar nodes? I have found a few in EL but they are sparce.

The Midgewater Marsh east of Bree is a pretty good location. It has several ruins that spawn Scholar nodes fairly reliably.
