Black ScreenFollow

well, i bought swg about a few days ago, and for some reason when i installed it, a black screen appears after the soe and lucasarts logos appear. i have everquest installed on here and it works fine, but i can't seem to be able to start the game at all it seems. is there something enable that i don't know about that could be doing this?

once this black screen appears, the cursor appears in certain places and becomes a hand almost as if theres a menu or something, but i can't see or click on anything. after this happens i have to shut down the entire computer since esc or ctl/alt/del won't work at all.

no problem, thanks. it turns out i had to update the ati video card and raedeon 9600 series and everything. turns out i have a problem getting into the login server now...i guess i just go at baby steps now. thanks anyway again!
