when?

do the legacy quest, you are given applicable weapons all the way through, so you shouldnt ever have to buy one :D
and at 26 i think you are given a training lightsabre, but before you can make your own, you need to make or buy a lightsabre crafting kit. basically, do the legacy quest, its all in there.
