irreversable mistake...Follow

Remember at the very beginning of the game in Tatooine, there was this rebel mission in Anchorhead where you had to search 5 data pads in a storage facility established in a cave , u only have about 13 minutes to do so before a bomb goes off,
Well, i was playing that mission the other night and was kind of lost in the cave running around wasting a lot of time, so i decided to abort the mission rather than to fail it and get blown up. But then when i tried talk to the guy who introduced me to that mission, he refered me to the previous mission which i already finished, instead of the bomb-in-a-cave mission that i aborted, so i'm stuck
Is there any way to fix that?

i would do the previous missions again if that is a option. as far as i know there is no bug with this. i did this quest not long ago with my other toon worked fine for me.
