I aquired force lightning skills from my dark path skill tree as soon as i was able to. (as i am sure anyone playing a jedi did too.) and as i have gained lvls, i noticed i have been getting "stronger" versions of the lightning attack. i am currently up to lvl 3 lightning. but now i have decided to change my expertise points usage. however i still would like to keep my lvl 3 force lightning. so i am curious that if i reset my expertise points, and then re-add them into force lightning, will i lose my lvl 3 lightning attack and be forced to reaquire it by gaining more lvls? or will i get back all 3 lightning attacks as if i never lost them? i dont want to reset them until i know whats gonna happen. appreciate any help anyone can give me for this problem and i apologize if i made this question more complex than it should be. i didnt know quite how to word it. thanks

As far as i know as you advance up your levels your expertise sets it self to a default template bassed on how the proff worked before the expertise untill you choose to change, so you shouldn't actually lose anything.

Althou you may find when you change your expertise you may not have enough points for everything you want.

I reccomend sourcing using a proff calculatour to see how your points allocation will work out, before you jump in, unless you know what your after of course.
