I changed faction from Imperial to rebel recently and i was an ace pilot. So i get double experince form each kill but i lvl way too fast. Not a comon problem. Im on the 6th box and i still have the scyck fighter with prototype components. When i ask a SW to make me components and a ship, but by the time they make it for me, i already have certification for new parts nd a ship. What should i do?

complianing that you level To fast!!!!

Shhhhhhhh dont you be daring saying such stuff on the main boards you'll be getting us nerfed!!!! The master pilot bouns is a nice lil gift for us dedicated pilots to so we can regrind for the rewards to RE.

That said welcome to the Rebels! we have cookies, milkshakes and the X wing, What took you so long!.

Ok i get what ya saying about leveling up 2 fast for your parts. Admittily i ground in and out pilots that many times now that i have bags of grind parts ready to just fit in as and when needed.

But heres what i used to do. basically you are gonna level faster than its worth going out and buying parts, unless you have the parts already before hand.

1st Get your self a heavy 95, the Y wing and the long probe have their uses, and im very fond of my Y-wing once i can get master level parts in, but at lvl 1-5 parts its a punishment for some thing or another to really use and your not gonna get the mass advantages of them compared the to the Heavy 95.

But basically i try to use the lvl 1 parts as far as i can push them, usually you can push this further buy swapping for a lvl 3 engine and guns along the way till you can get lvl 5 parts, then get your self a lvl 5 load out to get you to your lvl 7 parts, by time you hit tier 3 you will need the lvl 5 guns, engine sheild and armour.

Once you get to lvl 7 parts your pretty much running what your gonna run till you master, other than maybe swapping guns out for RE'd lvl 8 guns.

I ussually use the Z95 all the way to teir 4 and the heavy X cert as power and capacitor requirements for the Standard X were pretty difficult to balance, but with the updated reactors power wont be so much a proble, just getting enough energy to the guns, so im looking in to that at the moment.

You should already have a good number of components that you used as an Imperial pilot....just move them over. Once you can fit your ships with the lvl 8/9 gear, make sure to get ahold of a Heavy z95 as the previous poster said, and kit it out with everything you can. Quite fun to be able to knock out the initiate missions in a couple minutes by flying at near 1000 instead of 200...plus I found the Heavy variant ships to be the best I could use all the way until I regained access to my Tier 4 ships (JSF/Belbullab/etc) which were also already fully kitted out.

While you are at it, kit out a Heavy Scyk (I think that's the one) as well so you can do the privateer badges as well.
