I read this in a review..
it says
"....I am hoping that there is some decent diversity as the levels go up, because right now everyone looks the same except some have different silly hats..."
Is this true? i mean will every character in the game look a like, or will they be different with a wide range of weapons and all that, like in WoW???

I haven't noticed it being true. However, since quest rewards are typically very nice and people run a lot of the same quests, I suppose two Lvl 35 Champions might well have the same breastplate or something.
The armor and weapons are much more subdued and realistic than in WoW so you won't see the same range of cartoonish winged shoulderplates and swords which look as if they were made from automobile fenders.

for some reason, i had yellow and purple reversed. no wonder a lot of the purple items and most the yellow items i put up in the AH moved so darned quick/slow.

Just to re-cap...i wrote this in another post...but this is pretty much how the loot/gear system goes...
Yellow are obviously better then White because White is whatever is bought from Vendors or drops that are junk.
Purple are more rare then Yellow items...BUT that does not mean they are better...obviously Level 45 Items are better then Level 30 Items.
Blue Items are Ultra-Rare, they do tend to be better then Purple, but only if thier of the same level. Obviously you have to account stats into the equation.
But for the most part Light Blue > Purple > Yellow ...but like I said...that varies on level item and stats.

I think they are more Orange then brown personally.... however i've yet to see any either. I know we have one or two in the DB actually, which is some requirement for a quest. However I can't remember what the name is right now sadly.
i couldnt remember the color code...items that are Light Blue are the unique ones...and also keep in mind that people can set thier custom colors, i know i changed mine for group, kin, raid, etc...but i think i left item colors as they are (not sure i can change that anyway).

Yea, I don't think they change the color on items... While I'm not sure of the names, you're right in the whole White>Yellow>Purple>Blue>Orange (which btw you're off on in the post I quoted earlier... just noticed)

Actually you weren't wrong about anything... Thats what I get for reading that when I was dead on my feet basically!
