Let me guess you've played FFXI haven't you? All you have to do is hit alt-tab to switch out. Unlike FFXI LotRO is a true windows game so you can alt-tab out of it or even just run it in a window by going into settings and uncheck the full screen box.

You can also run the game in Windowed mode as well for that.

to turn on windowed hit "Alt+Enter" at the same time and it will switch to windowed mode...and hitting "Alt+Enter" again will change it back.

Try this: Options -----> Graphics Tab ----> Un-check the Full screen box.

Just goes to show you how a horribly programmed game like FFXI can set poor expectations for all games. Never forget that FFXI was a console game for the PS2 first, and then crutches and shims were added as an afterthought to make it a PC game (read: horribly written.) Most PC games don't suffer the bad code and design decisions that FFXI is filled with.

This post is relevent to my interest! Smiley: thumbsup

They ported and emulated it on the PC, meaning no AA, no advantage taken of the internal libraries, nothing.
