To find rare items? like yellow, blue and purple.
i do understand that blue and purple are very rare.
1.But is it even possible for monsters to drop this rare items?
or do you only get them when completing a quest??
2. I've never seen a bear etc, drop any kinds of weapon. Is it only the "human" like" monsters who drops weapons and armour?

Humanoid mobs drop humanoid style gear. This is a departure from other MMORPGs.
Yellow gear is rare but not all that rare. I've only had a purple item drop a few times for me but I haven't played in a good while now so I might be forgetting. Your main source for purples will be quests.
I've never had a blue/teal drop that wasn't a quest item but I'm pretty sure it does (very, very rarely) happen.

I have gotten quite a few yellow drops from your every day humanoid mobs. I noticed I tend to get more purple drops from mobs in instances. Not sure if I am just lucky or if there is a greater rate of purple drops in instance zones.

For reasons known only to Turbine, you'll more often see purple drops as burgled plunder (lvl 14 burg skill) or in ground spawns (corpse, backpack, cocoon, etc) then as body drops from humanoid mobs. Rare items are rare... but you will find them...
BTW - purple and teal items have a MUCH higher repair cost along with their better stats. Before lvl 30 I found it much more cost effective to maintain fewer or even zero purple items because of frequent death. Now at lvl 40 I tend to die less often (and usually then only because I do something stupid) so the purple items work out less costly.

Treasure chests, cacoons, corpses, and backpacks sometimes have some good items also.
