I'm an adult, looking for casual play. Is there a particular server that I should look at first? I'd hate to have to pay ten bucks to switch because the server I chose is full of 1337 d00dz!! :p
Overall, there isn't a high percentage of leet doods anywhere in the game... That said, You would probably do fine on Meneldor where the "official" Allah fellowship (guild) is located.
But then you would probably do well on most any server...
BTW - it is unlikely that you would have to move a character even if you found you didn't like the server you had rolled on. The thing is the first 20 or 30 levels are easy to get so unless you waited till you had an end game character, you could abandon him and re-roll on another server without losing more than a couple weeks of work.

I just started playing, picked the brandywine server. Population seems to be very high there.
Landroval is the unofficial RP server and seems to have a fairly mature player base. There are pockets of asshats but that will be on any server.
