Hey All, I am new to LOTRO and need advice about the above subject. Is there any add on <like WOW addon>.

Under one of the quest guides, I did encounter some players who gave the map code <74.12 73.15>, so I assume there must be a map mod ....Can anyone advice me where to download these, or perhaps is already incorporated in the system??

All Turbine allows is skinning of the interface. or a nice selection of skins take a walk over to:

http://www.lotrointerface.com/

and see if they have anything you like. The only way I know of to use map coordinates is to enter them into chat - as /loc ######## in a tell to yourself. this will tell you where you are.

Enough people have/are complaining about the mapping system that I imagine it is on Turbine's list of "things to do"!

Just a slight correction on the map thing... using /loc will give you an xyz coord, fairly worthless for finding where you are. Now using ; loc (without the space) will work for giving you those.
