I don't post much, but come to Alla (EQ,WoW,LoTR) alot for info and I have had question take awhile to get answered on forums that were split, but...it is very agravating to have to drill down on a general forum to find a reply and if I'm just browsing, I want to read necro posts not cleric posts. I can definitly say that I use the LoTR site on alla much less than I did with the others do to unorganized forums. So it seems, in my case, that less forums equals less traffic.

I'm assuming you mean the way they don't divide it into individual category's?

I think youre missing the bigger picture mate...Everyone wants there to be split forums...but until people LIKE YOU send in more information (Yes, LOTR forums are player made, which means that unless the info is submitted...there is NO info) there is no reason to split the forums. With it is now there are barely any people who post here because you can find most of the information you need on lotro.com or http://mehq.net/dynmap/

i never post--or almost never.
but i read this forum about 3-4 times a week. if this was split into different forums, it would be a pain in the ***. there simply isnt enough people posting to demand multiple forums--keep it the way it is.

Yeah I think the problem with Allakhazam forums is there are bigger forums hosted directly or affiliated by the companies producing the game, like WoW For example, there forums are so huge and populated you'd never have to leave them.
