Why do some of these still exist on this website?

Badges- as in badges that have to do with mastering a profession. ie: pikeman, dancer, swordsman etc.
Character Builders- they dont have anything to do with the current starwars build
Guides- You have guides in there have nothing to do with nothing

im sure there are some other things that have nothing to do with the game anymore but yet they exist. I understand that you may want to remember the old game, im sure everyone does but put it somewhere else maybe? In an archive link?

The NGE has been out long than any of the other updates of the game but yet this website is still in the past.

I have always come to this website because it has a pletha of information but im getting tired of searching through things that have nothing to do with the game.

Why?

OK...Can't believe I'm typing this, but dude.....those badges you see posted...they still exist in the game...unless you haven't noticed there are vet charaters that still wear the badges so it's important to them....so like all sites....this site isn't just designed for you...they all of the readers in mind, and to think that because you have a hardtime with whats current and non-current....maybe you should look at the date....anything after 06 is post-nge, I found that out with a nice simple question. Not a childish complaint...besides...if you don't know about the quests and thier changes or removal....then when you are running around trying to look for the rest of the ambush detector and you post like that.....you going to get a response of...."I don't know....figure it out yourself".....have a nice day....noobs sheesh...just think...I was one of those once...I'm ashamed:(

Well lets see, the content you so rightly call out of date, you will find was mostly added by the users and comunity here at those said times.

This was all then made as you delcately remind us useless, so much was re-done and then low and behold made useless again! for a second time!

So the writers of such guides either gave up completly and left, or gave up writing guides.

I notice your vocal about the amount of old content, but no word of thanks for the likes of Instigator whos puts a lot of work in to the new content you have refered to as been used.

Dont you think its time some of the NGE peeps actually put some effort in And updated the parts they find out of date and things that are now wrong, instead of wanting it on a plate and then complaining about having to actually look for something? or do you expect that these guides just appear from no where?

Maybe if more of the NGE/SOE focus Group generation actually gave a damn about anything other than their own selfish needs and instant gratification, there would be more upto date content.

But you cant expect instigator to do it all.

Now if you could excuse me i think im welling up with tears at the sorrow and the pain that extra time it must of taken you to filter throu the old pre nge stuff must of caused you

But as my point has been totally missed by you and your defencive stance.

How about i just agree with you and to hell with it all just delete everything? that what you after? or is it ok to have a little bit of history?

(not trying to pretend to know how a website works...)
But, I do know it takes time, money, and more time. There is not an easy button someone can push that will place all the outdated info into an archive. In my mind it would take someone going through every page and moving it to a new location.
I believe what others are trying to say is this...
In the begining, there was great enthusiasum by a great number of people to create what you see here today. It took a lot of time and effort to compile and post and link all this information together. It is not fair to assume these same people
A.)Still have that same amount of time to contribute
B.)Still have the same desire or enthusiasum to update information on a game that many feel was ruined by NGE
C.)Still even play the game at all
If there were to be a new group of people who had the time and enthusiasum it would take to create new more up to date guides, I'm sure the administrator would welcome their work.
I myself am EXTREMELY thankful for what is here, because if this were my website we'd all have been eaten by dunelizards long ago.

Notice i did not refer to you as one of the NGE/Test group generation, I simply refered to them as a reason why you have less current content than NEW content.
I.E not as many have stepped up to fill the gpas left by the fallen, gone or just all out dissilusioned. Infact i even ask the question dont you think they should step up and do some of the work? A question you chose not to answer but get defencive instead.

O.K maybe you didn't get the direct answer you were looking for, but you were given answers all the same.

If you had asked about what ever it was you were looking for you would of probably recived answers for that problem as well.

The reason lots of things from the CU and pre-CU aree still here is because submissions and data are hand entered by the Allahazam staff for each game. And each game has a small group of Admins responsible for content management. The content refers to items, quests, mobs, rewards, etc. We rely on data we gather in game and user submissions. If something is incorrect or needs to be updated/added in some way, we do request that players send us email with screenshots, up to date information or whatever so we can get to it and fix it.
