timing is everything in this life...Follow

So I reached lvl 44 on Bryndle last night (yay me!) and my question is, with the lvl 45 hunter's class quest looming in my immediate future, is this the wrong moment to buy new weapons? I fancy a new bow as well as a pair of new melee weapons (seems like I've had these forever!) but if the reward for the quest next lvl is a shiny new bow or a snazzy new blade, I can put the purchase off for a bit...

Thanks as always for any tips, clues, cheers or jeers!

I have those quests also. At 49 I still have them. The final step involves mobs in CD/Uru and is tough. I'd say if you upgrade weapons you'll get quite a bit of use out of them before you complete the 45 class quests.

On a side note, I know I haven't been around lately. I haven't left or switched games or anything like that. I changed jobs and life got busy, but I'm hoping that I'll be back in game some this week, or at least this weekend.

I'm in the same spot Zak is on the class quests. I still need all the CD/Uru drops. The bad part is that I have upgraded my gear to the point that the class quest items aren't any better than what I already have. The incentive to finish them at this point is that a 4th legendary trait opens. I don't know a thing about it, but I know there is one on completion of the class quests.

You can also buy the dropped items as well. I just finished my class quests on Flos and frankly, the crafted weapons I made are better than the blue one I got as a reward for one of these. Other than the additional legendary trait, I have to say that the money I spent for the items was not my best purchase.
